This mixture of cycling fun and cultural treats can best be experienced on the Brenner cycle route down to Bozen/Bolzano. Totalling 96 kilometres, it can be divided into two stages – from the Brenner Pass to Bressanone/Brixen and from Bressanone/Brixen to Bozen/Bolzano, leaving plenty of time for viewing the sights and visiting the towns and villages along the River Isarco/Eisack. There are demanding expeditions up into the mountains, flowing trails or relaxing rides through meadows, forests and sun-drenched pastures for mountain bikers: road bike enthusiasts on the other hand can take on such challenges as the Penserjoch, Jaufenpass or Würzjoch passes – cycling fans who love nature will be in their element in the Isarco Valley!
